    Lets\' see...

I pulled the stock manifolds off yesterday check for crack's (none found) I place new manifold gasket's in. Start up the K5 exhaust leak is still there. Sounds a bit better but still noticable. I 've replaced the lead donuts, and added manifold gaskets. The only other thing it could be is the EFE valve ($100).. then my dad brings home the horse trailer and the trailer brakes don't work. Propably put in about 6 or 7 hours of work in this weekend, and still none of the things worked on work. Makes you go hhhhmmmmm....The beauty of being a K5 owner.

Eric, I can resolve any leaks you have coming from the manifold to heads if you bring me the manifolds to resurface. After they are resurfaced reinstall them WITHOUT gaskets and use STAR WASHERS instead of lock washers or the lock tabs and they will not leak anymore. From the factory they never had gaskets, only the aftermarket companies have come up with gaskets due to warpage over the years. Since they will be resurfaced flat again NO GASKETS NEEDED.

I think about t Scott. How much does it cost to get done? Man pulling those air inlet lines off the header was a bitch of a job.

I bead blast the manifolds then resurface them both for $80.00. You will not have anymore leaks from the manifold to head.
