    I'm putting in a new 6.2l diesel. I have the front clip off and was wondering wether to yank just the block or the tranny with it. or go all the way back to the trans.case.

    I would say it depends on weather or not you plan on servicing the rest of your drivetrain! If all you plan on doing is the motor then that is all I would pull......

    I think just the engine , removing everything is a lot of work . I find it easier just to remove the engine .
