Ok im going to a 6" lift and 1ton gear in the near future Im hoping to do it before the first weakend of march. Ive got a list of these things I will need so far.

    D60
    14bff
    bilstien 5100 14" travel shocks
    f250 shock towers
    conversion u joints
    spare tire
    5 rims
    brake lines

    new suspension bushings
    Extended drive shafts

Am I missing anything? Also where can I get conversion ujoints and how much do they run?

If you are lengthening driveshafts get the right yoke put on the shafts and forget about the conversion joints...

u can get conv. joints at any parts store. local they are $25. if u are going to spend much money having your d-shafts modified it would be a good time to have the right yoke put on it, so u could run a regular joint. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

good luck on your swap u will love it.

What are you planning on doing as far as the lift in the rear ?? I'm a big fan of the ORD Shackle Flip. Great product in my honest opinion. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

Not really longer u-bolts but wider ones for the 14 bolt. Compleat set at Napa is like $15.00
You will need some way to remove rivits on the stock front shock tower. Either drill them out or grind the heads out and knock them out with a center punch. Either way I would make sure I got good bits and or a good grinding wheel. The F-250 towers will need a couple inch's trimed off of them so You will need a torch, cut off wheel or chop saw. Also You will need some grade 8 hardware to mount them I belive it would be 3/8's
Oh and a BFH and lots of other tools. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
