    There is a place in Mt. Pleasant, NC calle dixie truck works, the sell the upper fiberglass liftgate For 69-72 chevy blazers. I am planning on going and picking me up one after i get my truck back with its new engine. It cost $400 though so it is kind of expensive. Here is a like to their web site it is the second item from the bottom. Dixie Truck works

    Has anyone tried to use a newer tailgate with the glass in the gate and fit the old skin on it?

    I would think it would be too thick to look good. The 2nd gen tailgates are like 8" thick.
