    DILEMA:
Over the last year I've been working on swapping coil springs under my 71 Blazer and now I want to switch back to leaf springsin front. My problem is that I don't know how much lift I ended up with. I think it's about 4-6"

    HELP:
What I need is for all you guys with 4-6" inch lifts to measure from your front frame (near bumper) to the ground, (preferably driveway or someplace level for an accurate reading) This way I'll know what size springs to buy.

ANY HELP IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.

Based on your picture. It looks like you have more than 6". What size tires do you have on there?

I wanted to change back to spring because, well honestly, I don't have a lot of faith in my front coil set-up, but I love the rear, and don't wan to try to tinker with another front design.

    Those are 33's

But now that I think about it in order to get a truely correct measurement I will need some people to masure from their framerails to their spring pads on their axle. Because measurements to the ground can vary depending on tire size.
