Lots of extra stuff in the garage:

    1) 4" lift kit for 73-91 Blazer. $100. A mixture of new and used parts. Essentially a Rough Country 4" kit. Includes:
-2 front leaf springs. Used, but not sagging, cleaned up and freshly painted
-New polyurethane front bushings and sleeves (set of four to cover all four spring eyes)
    -New front U-bolts, zinc-plated
-Rear blocks, tapered, about 4.5". Used, but painted and in good condition (no rust).
-1 set of U-bolts included, one set will still be needed.

If you are lifting a stock truck you will still need a steering arm and new shocks.

    2) 10-bolt rear axle. $50 obo. 3.08 gears, open diff, new seals, good working order, no rust, good brakes. Comes with 3 brake drums.

    3) 8-lug axleshafts for GM 9.5" 14-bolt axle. $15 ea. or $25 for pair. Good shape, no problems.

    4) Running boards for Blazer/Jimmy. $50. Black anodized aluminum. Better than stock because they allow a little extra tire clearance up front. (see how the front edge isn't quite straight? The running board has been shortened by about 1.5") Includes all mounting hardware and brackets.

    5) A.I.R. pump with check valves and rubber hoses. Cast iron log exhaust manifolds. Other misc. parts.

    Wanted: spare tire/wheel. 35x12.5 on 6-lug

This is pretty much the same thing that Rough Country sells off their web site for $250

That should be the same lift for a shortbed 85 GMC pickup right?
If so, dibs on lift please find out how much shipping would be to 40701.

    Thanks,
    Don

Don't act like I'm not giving a good deal. The new lift kit is actually $295 at Rough Country.com, but the most valuable part is the springs anyway. It's hard to find lift springs for less than $90/each. A rear block kit is like $50 with U-bolts and I know the front U-bolts are worth $30 because that is what I paid for them, even though I never got them out of the box. Shocks and a steering arm can be picked up reasonably. You overestimate the "brake line extenders" if you consider them to be worth anything at all.

JackedJimmy already replied (via PM), but I haven't accepted his offer. I know shipping will be considerable, I'll get some quotes soon. I am also waiting a response from a local guy. Clearly not having to ship would be preferable.

It should fit your shortbed as long as it is 1/2 ton. I'm not sure about 3/4-ton. You could check the application guide at Rough Country. Mine were specified as for 85 GMC Jimmy.

The kit should be the same. How is it different?

My cousin wants the kit for his 76 Blazer. We are trying to see what's needed to make it work.

I also have a 3.08 ring and pinion set for a 10-bolt axle in very good condition.
