Cool. Replace all your U-joints right now. You're going to have to soon anyway.

Nope I'm sticking with my 33s. I'm not going any bigger until I got at least 350hp.

If you think you need 350 HP for 35-38" tires you just plain don't know how to drive.

yea, actually I've heard that takes a lot of power, you might want to take a look at your gear ratio's too.

I was planning on putting 4.56 gears in it. Never had the chance! If you give me a set of tires and rims I'll gladly put them on.

You don't need 350hp! My stock 1981 305 V-8 does just fine with 3.73 gears, NP 205 and 35" tires.

In a mud bogg you do. If you entered your 305 down here you wouldn't do anything! I know from experience! There is a 305 that runs 35s, he just can't turn 35s. He has headers, cam, and 650 holley and it still sucks. My truck with 33s went farther than him.

OK, I'm not saying it wouldn't be nice or beneficial to have 350hp! I would love to have 350hp but don't think it's a good enough reason to hold back on puchasing larger tires! I certainly wouldn't spend the money to try to leech more power out of my 305 though!
