I want to lift my K5 a little and was thinking to put a 2.5" ORD shackle flip in the rear and a 2" lift in the front.
My question is i don`t want to loose the smooth riding i have with stock springs, wat is the best lift kit for the front ?
    Do i need longer shocks?

your ride really wont be affected with only a 2 inch lift, and since you want the flip out back, that retains your stock spring. You shouldnt need new shocks.

Word on the street (ok, just on this board) is Tuff Country has the mildest riding lift springs..........not sure if they have 2" as you mentioned, maybe 2.5".

Shaggy and Blazin thanks for the response.

Blazin do you know where i can order online tuff country lift kits. I checked their website and that linked me to JC Whitney but on their site i couldn`t find any tuff country parts.

I gigured it out i`m going to buy tuff vountry 2,5" lift kit.
The reason why i want to lift my car is that the tires are rubbing my front fender. Will this begone whit a lift kit?
Does the lift kit extend the suspension travel?
Then the tires will still be rubbing the fenders when the front spring will fully compress. Do i need to change the stop bumpers also?

The ride with my Superlift Superrides is very good also! It actually rides better than my friends Dads '90 K5 that is stock!
