I have an 87 K5 and am wanting to put on an echobit flip in the rear, with 4" BDS front springs. I have a SAWZALL, and will tim the fenders. How much would I have to trim to run 37's? I might also add zero rates to the front. Thanks.

If you are willing to trim, Then I say put in the lift, buy the tires, and adjust as necessary....Every truck is different....

To fit 38's, I had to trim a lot (all the way past the mounting bolt at the bottom of the fenders to the cab), and I run a 3" body lift to boot. With a 1.5" front axle relocation forward, you may be able to skip the 3" body lift and still clear the cab with the front wheels stuffed.

I doubt it would make much difference, but i was maybe thinking of running 36's. Does anybody know if the tsl radials wear very good on the street? Thanks.

i run a set of 36x12.50x15 tsl radials on a 88 k5. it is my dd. the tires have been on the rig for 2 1/2 years. they have 40,000 miles on them. they are still at 30% tread. the key to tire life is rotation & inflation. i rotate every oil change.

I am runing 39.5 boggers with 5" of lift, with lots of fender trimming [IMG]

This was my truck running 36 sx's with 4" of lift with no fender trimming

My front 36" tires hit the fenders often. I can't get the 39's to rub
