I was wondering and maybe this is a stupid question, but.........I got those piece of monkey dung 60 series street tires of the Jimmy. I am not sure but it looks as if in might have a small lift? I put 265/70/15's o it and the body is about 2 foot of the ground. Is there any way to know if it has been lifted? There are no blocks on the rear axle, and it was ordered from the factory with twin shocks at the front and a 350. I thought it was all factory but am not sure right now. Any suggestions? I am planning on lifting it soon, also when I lift it which will probably be a 6" will I need to lenghten the drive shafts? I know that this is most probably a question that has been answered a thousand times, but could you repeat it again possibly?
    Thanks

How about a page on the site just addressing lift issues and those other problems that those of us new to the K5 world ask over and over, just a thought? Kinda like a top ten questions of the K5 world.

    <*)))><

    81" GMC Jimmy.............stock for now!
I see a 6 inch lift in the near future!

Some K5's came from the factory with dual shock setups. The offroad packge offerd as a firm riding spring setup. If the center of your front spring is arched up (o then I doubt there is any sor tof lift. If it looks like this )o then there is some sort of lift. I would do more of a defined search on the topic to further help you out. Hit my page up for pics of a 6" lift on a 88' K5.
