Where can I get a cheap roof mount light bar for my Blazer ???? I don't need the lights, I've got some nice ones in the closet. Also want to mount my CB anteena to it.

I thought about the same thing but I have decided to get a functional roof rack and put the lights on that. I am building mine and making it two piece so that the front section mounts to the front roof (1979) and the rear mounts to the removable top. That way the lights and front rack are installed no matter if the top is on or not.

lightbars are kinda cool... but at the same time, I can just see those things punching through my roof in a roll-over. I'd rather keep my lights in the front grille/bumper area personally...

A roll-over would do pleanty of damage even with out a light bar, so I'll try to avoid that.

not only that, anything that goes on my rig that's breakable has to be very protected. I'd break them every time I went out. Tree limbs, overhanging cliffs, ect have a way of finding me, or is it the other way around?

I hear that, But I do like the light bars, I figure I can get some sort of quick release set up for them.
