Anyone know of some light trails and stuff near Co Springs? I just moved here from Denver and would like to do some easy stuff.

Check out the Staging Area forum over at www.colorado4x4.org Some of the folks on there go play on some trails that are up off of Old Stage Road, on the south end of town. Most of the decent trails near here are within the still-closed Hayman Burn Area. /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

Thanks! Any idea when they may re-open the Burn area? /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

If it gets any colder here, hell might actually freeze over. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

Light wheeling? Heck yeah lots of it on roads that run off of old stage road. Mt Baldy is a fun for the light stuff. It is an easy trail that turns into a narrow but very doable shelf road. It goes above timberline though so if there is snow up there stay away as you wont be able to see the edge!!!
