Ok some one please help me out before I smash my mulit-meter with a pipe wrench...

Here's what I got. Passanger break light don't work. But the trun signal works. If I trun on the parking lights or the head lights it lights up. If I put on the 4 ways it kinda does what it should but it's dimmer than the other side. It also blinks opposite ot eh drivers side. WTF!?

Can some one help me out? If the answere is so stupid that it makes me look like a moron, I'm good with that!:)

    Thanks in advance...

I'd go with a new turn signal switch. My parking lights would come on when I hit the brakes, both rears would flash for a right turn, and left turn would stop flashing when I hit the brakes. Replaced the switch in the column, everything went back to normal.

Actually yes, scribe your steering wheel before you take it off (if you decide to replace the switch) so you can get it back in the right spot. The brakes and turn signals are all integrated through that switch, so when it goes strange things can happen. I don't remember where I bought it, but I eventually found it for about $29. www.americanclassic.com has it for $38 if you can't find it elsewhere. It's not hard to install, just take your time and remember where all the pieces go. A steering wheel puller makes it a lot easier too.

Well I changed out the trun signal switch and things are all working just fine now. Well the horn is still pretty hit and miss... Once I get the safety inspection done, I'll probably just disable it alltogether....

Anyways, thanks for the help! :D

It cost about $50. It would have cost the same or more to buy it on line and get it shipped here to Hawaii. That, and I didn't have to wait for it. That's what I get for living here I guess....

    Thanks again:grin:
