Dad, Liam and I did some light wheelin' on a little trail called Doughspoon located North of Delta. It wasn't anything technical, but it was fun to get out and do some exploring. Liam had fun throwing rocks down the hill.

This was also Dad's first run on the new shoes, not much of a test though. Other than they were much more civil on the road. You can carry on a conversation at highway speed.

Bo, those tires certainly changed the personality of the "blue thing" it is much more driver friendly now. Every time I change something I find something else to change, new shocks are in order now. I hinted for Christmas but I'm not sure it took root.

James, I think of all of the photos of Liam that one will be my all time favorite!!!!!! I think that is an award winning shot of my handsome GRANDSON. No I'm not just a dotteing grandpa. :):)

I have some Michelin XLs coming up from AZ, hopefully next month courtesy of Harley. They measure 38" and use a 16" wheel.

Right now the General is running 30" tires! :haha:

Saturday we went to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. If you guys have never been, you need to go. It is really cool. I was there when I was a kid, but that was a long time ago. I had forgotten how neat it is.

Tyrone if the weather cooperates maybe we could do Doughspoon in mid-December. Maybe I'm just a chicken but I don't think I want to be on this trail if it were wet and muddy, you know how that 'dobe is when it is wet. Perhaps Duane will be up and running by then and we could have several trucks. We didn't think to get the GPS out until we were half way back down but I would guess we climbed about 3000' from Delta to where we turned back.

Hey I just picked up a set last week in San Diego! Man, their heavy; 100lbs a piece! Hope you have a strong set up because it's going to be hell on the axle shafts and bearings.

I also picked up a set of 1 ton steel rims at approx. 35-40lbs a piece. So that's alot of weight to turn!

Tyrone and Erv as you know it has started to warm up around here and you know what comes with that 'dobe mud, goose grease! With all of the stuff I have going on getting ready for Christmas I also need to wait until after the first of the year. I would like to go play around on the ledges in Bangs Canyon again realitively soon.
