    i was looking at lights in jcwhitney and they have sealed beam and halogen the the halogen are a little cheaper i dont know the difference between the two

    I think Halogen you can replace the bulb with a new halogen bulb, Sealed beam are like a light bulb in your house (sealed) with an element inside. When a sealed beam burns out you have to buy a whole new light. I think thats right...if not someone will correct me.

    What kind of lights are you looking at? KC Daylighters come in both styles, but the sealed beam versions throw a LOT more light. As I recall, their halogen versions are rated at about 200,000 candlepower each, while the sealed beam versions are rated at 385,000 candlepower each. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif Those suckers light up the night! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
