I specified a "music" folder. There is a shared limewire file that I think is the default.

Click on a song in the Limewire console. When it opens, see where it is saved. IIRC, the folder is called "shared music" and you will find it grouped with Limewire.

    My Computer/C:/Documents and Settings/Your User Name/Shared

That's the path for the default location.

dont mean to hyjack, but I have a bad connection on mine, and done what the said to do, and still have a crappy connection. My internet connection is fine, and is the computer speed. But for some reason Limewire doesn't like my computer. Anybody else have this problem??

It depends on where you are trying to get a song from. Sometimes I double click on a song and it just sits there idling. Then I cancel it and try another and it works. :dunno:

Iv'e tried alot of different things and nothing comes up. At the bottom left of the screen there is 5 bars that shows you the connection, I have the small bar and that is it. I did there connection stuff for the firewalls, and nothing. Friggin irritating.

lol, funny. But come on and think about it. Limewire isn't some huge secret so if they really found it to be illegal don't you think that they would make Limewire shut down? Sure it's borderline legality wise but if it was completely wrong then it wouldn't still be up. Look at Napster, it was up for a while then was shut down, I don't see Limewire shutting down, at least not yet. ;)

You're local library probably has a nice collection of music on CD. Just a thought.

lol, doubt it. Especially with the invention of the iPod. Shoot, the local librarys around here only have old torn up worthless books. Most people around here hardly use it anymore, for school I have to go buy everything.

Of course it depends on what state your in I guess.

The OKC Metro Library System must be pretty good then, because I've checked out about a hundred CDs ranging from Snoop Dogg to the whole Pink Floyd inventory.

lol, don't expect to ever get that if you come to California. Maybe an old 80's band with no hits on tape, oh yeah and it'll be in spanish too. ;)
