linkage adjustment on a 700r4

    the linkage is all out of wack on my 700...and i cant even get it into park...and its kinda sloppy to... how do i fix this...

    loosen the bolt where it attaches to the tranny. shift the tranny by hand into park. shift the lever on the column into park. then tighten the bolt. it may take a little fiddileing to get it just right.

    it helps to have another person there. Then you can get both ends exactly where they were supposed to be.
