All I have nowadays is a winchester model 12 pump shotgun.

Used to have a .44 desert eagle, and a ruger super redhawk,(.44 ).

I miss the desert eagle, and I'm sorry I ever sold it.

I like all Military Surplus weapons... the only problem is that US Surplus stuff is so damn overpriced, it's not even worth it to buy one unless you find a 75% off sale.... yeah right...

Seriously though, I'd love to have a Garand, a 1903, a 1917 Eddystone, an M-14, an M1A... the list goes on... and on... and on....

By the way... please tell me that you BOUGHT the Eddystone hack-job with the sporter stock, or that the original wood was so horrible that it wasn't salvagable... If you sporterized an original Mummy-wrapped 1917 Eddystone, I might have to lose all respect for you... they are so rare in good condition, many guys are willing to pay double their value just to get one in their collections... It's almost like buying an M1-D sniper rifle and puting on a Monte Carlo stock because you like the feel more.... heh.... The last mummified Eddystone I saw sold for over $700...

Just kidding about the respect thing Devil Dog. =)

I bought the Eddy as is, except I upgraded the scope. I am guessing it was sporterized in the 60s, from the looks of the stock and the ANCIENT 4X Redfield scope that was mounted on it. Is Redfield still based in Denver? That's what is stamped on the scope. I tracked the serial # and it was made in 1918. All the numbers match, and all have the correct markings for Eddystone arsenal.

Sorry, I was busy partying with the rest of the crew. I thought it was funny though.

    I'm rockin:

    Mini-14 .223
    Remington 597 .22LR
    Remington 341-P .22LR
    Ruger Security Six .357Mag

Next on the list is either a 1911 variant or an H&K USP of the .40 S&W flavor. Or a 10/22, depending on whether or not I decide to buy again before I can legally aquire a pistol.
