little wire coming from 4wd shifter inside??

    i was lookin underneath the other day at the t-case and noticed a wire coming out of the shifter in the cab..its not conneceted but its got 2 little connectors on it and i think its for my 4wd light? could it be?

    i do believe that you are right on that one. those are the only wires coming out of my shifter.

    There should be a plug on your transfer case that they plug into.

    Well you should have two pair of wires actually, your description is a little unclear. Under the truck should be the 4wd indicator light (don't know how the 4wd light mechanism works on the 208, so thats probably why I'm not clear on what you are describing), in the cab for the shifter itself is for the light that illuminates the shifter.

    i was lookin at it last nite and couldnt figure out how they plug in..there is a connector on the t-case and 2 wires out of the shifter, but i think a wire is missing or something, cuz i pluged them in and it doesnt work..dont know? dont care all that much, cuz i know when im in 4wd, u cant turn worth crap!! hahaha /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
