Other than being a really sweet looking Blazer, can anyone tell what kind of mirrors those are on that thing? I'm wanting to find some good mirrors for mine, but don't really know what to get.

It is hard to tell but they look like factory mirrors with colormatched paint on the lower part of the mirror. I like the shaved look on that bad boy

Naw, they're not factory mirrors. They're the wrong shape, the chrome is too good, and the mounting base is too small for a stock mirror.

I love the all black look. That's how my 2wd will be. The only shiny parts will the the bumpers and wheels.

I can't see anything on that thing that is shaved. It does look clean though, but did you see the nerf bar? I doubt if he does much wheelin'. Also did you happen to notice the "Bowtie" on the grille. Now where did he get that?

    Question for 80s owners:

What are the "skid-boards" under the front bumper for? I've seen them 80s Blazers. What are they supposed to do?

The "skid board" is an air dam or wind deflector. It's an aerodynamic thing. It helps to keep air from flowing under the truck and grabbing the undercarriage and stuff. Although it doesn't work too well on a jacked up 4x4 due to catching the axles, it's supposed to help with gas mileage some.

Thanks, I would've never imagined that the GM engineers actually combined the words "aerodynamics" and "Blazer"
