LMC \"Complete Mounting Kit\" and 2\" body lift

Has any one used one of the LMC "Complete Mounting Kit" kits before. P/N 30-0115 $129.00 in the catalog. Is there somewhere to get a better price? Any suggestions or tips on the installation. I am taking the body off the chassis to clean up the frame and ease the swap. I also want to intsall a Performance Accessories 2" Body Lift? All input welcome.

I used the complete nody mounting system. I wouldnt recommend it. Every bolt included is wrong. Most of the wsahers had to be cut to fit but other than that it was fine. If you are going to use it dont get the one that includes the bolts

i am using the similar setup that u just described. I got my poly body mounts from chevy duty, though. the RUBBER ones i got from LMC SUCK! i have not even used the 71 blazer and they are crubling apart. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. i can show you pics if you like. The bolt kit, from LMC, that it came with worked GREAT, though.

I also got the PA 2" body kit. The nuts and bolts that it came with fit right in with no problems. again i got pics if you want to see them.

    arq,
Pics would be great. I wanted to see what the spacing looked like. What size body spacers did you use?

I hear that poly mounts give a harsh ride which I definitly dont want. Is there a better stock replacement? What about Energy Suspension. They sell a poly kit that is supposed to still offer a descent ride? Any one using them?

If I go with the PA 2" lift it will include new longer bolts anyway.

I wanted to go with a stock body mount kit because its usually cheaper then buying individual parts, I broke most of the bolts taking them out and all the mounts were trashed worn and rusted. I would have just ended up with an extra set of stock length bolts.

I used skyjackers poly mounts and 2" body lift..the dimeter of the bolts where to large and some drilling of the body had to be done...(not much)...also I thing all the bolt heads were welded to the floor so they had to be ground off...I really like the poly mounts except if I had to do it over again I would applyed a little grease to them because there is some squeeking, but not much it's no big deal...

Rubber Vs. Poly body mounts: LMC \"Complete Mounting Kit\" and 2\" body lift

Got all the pics. Thanks. What did you pay for each: the PA 2" lift and the poly mounts?

So far I have ONE FOR and ONE AGAINST the stock rubber mounts.ONE Against was for the bolts which will be from the body lift kit anyway. Like I said before I dont want the poly mounts because of the stiffer ride... any other input?
Who's running new Poly Mounts and who's running new Stock Rubber Mounts?
