I read in a magazine a while ago that there is a corporate 12 bolt front axle. It's extremely rare and isn't very desirable for that reason. But it was fairly strong. I don't know for a fact though, just something I read in a mag. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Get out your September 2003 edition of Petersen's 4wheel and off road, turn to page 18 under the caption "Got Jump" and read the worst mod. I know it was a custom built unit... but unless they typed it wrong twice, he's got a 12 bolt front axle /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

i just cant remember right now, hummm.. im even more curious now,,.

i would think custom built for sure,. i have never sene a listing- in GM or otherwise- for a front GM corp 8.875" axle.,

Then why did you bother making the post? I figure you would at least remember the fact that since you have a 14BFF, that your Suburban is no longer 1/2 ton.
