Has anyone installed LMC's nerf bars? No one at LMC is able to tell me if these bars are mounted to the frame rails. Can someone shed some light on these bars? LMC calls them "oval side step bars," item 37-7584. Almost five years into this project and my son gets his driver's license on 8/22. I'd like to turn the 87 K5 over to him as he dreamed of it. Thanks...

Maybe somebody else can recall, but i remember a site that sold nice rock rail side steps for blazers, i think they may have been clamp on (frame)

my nerbars are made by genuine steel. they are really nice. no nerfbar you find for a ky mounts on the frame because it is so far back away from the edge of the body. i believe they mount to a body mount bracket and a rear hanger.
