I'm getting ready to install a radio and speakers in my truck, and am looking for ideas where to mount them. I have a military blazer which has no factory stereo or dash mounted heater vents. I'm thinking about putting the stereo in the center of the dash, and cutting holes in the lower parts of the doors for speakers, and making panels for the rear area speakers. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks, Erik

For speakers in the back by the back seat the best thing to do is cut some holes and put 6x9s there. You know between the back seat and front seat.

Well as far as cutting the dash, I have a 78 and wanted to upgrade from the old radio to a new one with a cd in it. Instead of making a mess of the dash I just mad a custom center console and took the old arm box out. this way i could mount the stereo within fingers reach while driving and wouldn't have to lean forward while drivin... I'm just lazy that way.
