    Well guy's and gal's......My /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif is no longer stock. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

As some of you might already know Wayne, my brother, and I have been working on my /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif when we can. Mother nature has not coperated very well so it has taken longer then we had hoped. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

My 90 Blazer is now lifted with a 3" front and 4" rear Tuff Country EZ Ride Suspension. It is now equipped with a D60 and 14ff which have 4:10's and a detroit in the rear. And it now sit's on 35's.

We have created a small album with a few pictures of before durring and now. We are far from finished though. We still have bumpers to paint and install, a little fender trimming, tranny and engine work, Warn Premium Locking hubs and a few other odds and ends, with 1 additional major change coming soon.

    Check out the pics..... http://community.webshots.com/album/70264670YQaRQv

I have waited a long time for this. So as you can imagine I am estatic. Now if we could just get mother nature to cooperate a little better we could get finished.

So you've got a monotone K5 now? Does the exhaust drone on or something?

Using 2 jacks is the only way to go for putting axles in. If I have to do if by myself I use a 3rd jack. 2 under the axle as shown and the 3rd (usually a stock K5 jack) under the pinion. Works great doing it like that.

The diff guards came from Rons Custom Shop.

As Donna mentioned we have them for the front and back.

I'm confused? The exhaust is a 3" Flowmaster system. I had it on my GMC with a shackel flip so as a temperary solution to clearing the spring (and to pass state inspection) I just ran it out the back. Now that the exhaust is on her K5 I am getting it routed back out the side.

Hehe, she said it was 1-toned, instead of 1-tonned. 1 tone is monotone, monotone is carrying a single tone on and on, like a droning teacher or something. So I was wondering what about her truck was monotone. Just a joke.
