I have a 83 K5 blazer with the auto lock 4 wheel drive one wheel is not unlocking what can I do to get it to unlock. What is involved in installing manual lockouts and where to buy them. Also does anyone have the torque and HP of a 94 Suburban engine I just bought it to put in my 83 Blazer I would like your thoughts on that also.

    Thanks gang /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

yank those auto hubs out and swap them for manuals.. its a pretty straightforward process which doesnt even involve removing the wheels.. 45 minutes top, that includes time to assemble tools and parts and clean your hands.. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Are you swapping in the TBI from that truck as well? If not, the HP/TQ rating is irrelevant, it's going to change with a carb.

No I dont have the TBI I wish I did. I will be putting a highrise manifold and carb instead.
