Who has used the 52" rear springs on the front, I want to use some springs from an 87 Blazer after relocating the front hangers but I`m not sure what kind of lift I will end up with. My concern is with keeping it around 2 1/2-3" lift without a lot of trial and error since its just a bare frame at this point.Anyone with some first hand experience on the subject?
    Thanks

That's a link from before the board was changed to the newer software. You need to change the part of the URL where it says "showflat.pl" to "showflat.php", then it should work. Here's the updated link:

Are you going to run a front bumper? The springs that far forward might limit the frame area for attaching your bumper and lower your approach angle.

I had put longer front springs on my blazer but I didn't move anything, Here is the pictures. <a target="_blank" href=http://www.rustbucket.rockcrawler.com/photo.html>http://www.rustbucket.rockcrawler.com/photo.html</a>
Next blazer I build will have 54" long front springs made by Alcan. Just talk to them today about them. I guess I need to find a blazer to put them under. [IMG]

You can move the front spring hanger fwd about 3 1/2" and still use the stock bumper brackets but that only moves your axle fwd 1" since the stock/aftermarket springs are 47" with the pin in the center. The Blazer springs have a big arch to them unloaded so once the weight is on them they are going to kick the shackle way back and move the axle back probably more than an inch.
I would like to use my military front bumper but it looks like that front hanger needs to go fwd more than 3 1/2". Or maybe a trip to the spring shop and look into off-set center pin springs!
