Longer travel shocks than 9012 and 5012\'s!!

Got the new "Off-Road Adventures" mini mag (4wpw mag) and on page 25 there is a new long travel shocks from Pro-comp. i went to the rancho site and the 5012's travel was listed at 13.5" and the 9012's at 13.25. and the new procomps are ---long are listed at 14" and the longer are listed at 15" (at least what is says in the mag) and i looked on the procomp web page and couldnt find anything. just wanted to give anyone looking for longer travel shocks the heads up.

I saw that too!!! I got a little excited and ran outside to see if my current shocks are in good enough condition to sell/forums/images/icons/wink.gif. But I didn't see a price for them or find them on their website either. I guess I'll have to wait. But 15inches will be cool./forums/images/icons/cool.gif

It dosnt say the compresed length but the extended length is 34 and 36" respectively. they say they are plain es3000 and es 9000's so I would assume they are the same price as any 3k or 9k shock. but you what happens when you assume /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

get the Doetsch Tech prerunner DT8000s and be happy. travel from 18.5" to 32"... have built in bump stops, are built pretty beefy and they are spec'd by the manufacture to run just fine "upside down". They aren't adjustable like RS9000s, but they are nice and soft (unlike the 5000s) and cost about half what RS9000s cost...

Yeah, those pro-comps look cool, they are adjustable like the RS9000s, but with 6 settings instead of 5. But price is ~$85 each. That's pretty F'n high for shocks!!

Tell 'em Jek! Last time I looked up the price on the DT8000s, they were about $35-40. If I hadn't just put new shocks on, I would have a set for sure already! /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

    Rene-

Contact Matt, "TheLakeRat" (CK5 screen name). Last time I talked to him, he said that he had access to them. Sorry, but that is all the info I have.
