I'm getting pretty close to putting on a 6-7" lift, all suspension and I want it to be as flexible as possible. What brand of shocks can I used to give me the longest stroke but will still fit and be nice and soft? I'm guessing longer stroke means overall longer shock right?

Doetsch Tech sells the DT8000 which has 14" of stroke. West Texas offroad sells em for just under $40 a piece I think. Should be pretty soft, they're pre-runner shocks.

Just get a stiff shock and mount it at a 45 degree angle, using the standard mounts on the axle and to a common hoop in themiddle between the frame rails, this will double their effective travel but cut in half the dampening.
