I was wondering if people would chim in with their favorite external appearance mods?

I'm looking to get new headlight lenses, a new grill and bumpers.

I kind of want my truck to look like that but from what i've been told you can't have those headlights on a 90 k5 because of the quadlighting.
I really dislike the look of the bottom yellow lense on my front bumper.

If you dont' like the headlight setup get a phantom grille, one that covers the whole shebang. My favorite would be bumpers though. Nothing sets off a cool truck like a nice set of bumpers

Find somebody wanting to do a street rod pickup or something who might want your grill & lights. If they have what you want then get to wrenching and swap all the parts over including the radiator support. Or you could do like I did and cover part of it with a nice bumper from Blazenoffroad. Mine is the red & black one on the page. If it's just the turn signal lens then change it out for a clear one and use an amber bulb. Much cheaper and less labor intensive.

Is there any easy way to get that front look on my 91 quad lighting truck or no?

Also does anyone have pictures of the phantom grille?

I was referring to that headlight setup for my truck. Also who knows what tires/rims those are? Like model / style. That combo looks amazing.

I think what sets any vehicle off is its stance. In my opinion the best appearance mod is a 4" lift and 33" tires. I know that may not be the best for offroading but we're talking looks here. I also added some spacers to widen the stance on the rear. Those two mods should be first and foremost for appearence if you've got a decent truck to start with.

They are Weld Racing Scorpio V's, 16.5x14" on 35x16 Boggers. I had a hard time finding these wheels in that size, as Weld will will run a certain size and style for so long and then shut down until stock deminishes.

Weld is now owned by American Racing and as far as I know the 14" wide wheels in the 16.5" flavor are discontinued. Infact, I think most 14" widths are done for in the Weld line.

Look on Ebay and your local paper for the 14's, maybe even my area. There was a ton of us back in the day running these wheels and are still floating around, the only problem is they are a hot commodity around here in my area, I've had over a dozen offers made by guys I know wanting my rims that have chromed out late model street queens.
