Well, we FINALLY got the V3500 out to the proerty this weekend, and got the boat hooked up and out on the water. It was a lovely day for a cruise, and the Mickey Wagon handled things fine, other than a squeaky driver's side front brake.

    A couple of pics-

Nice set-up and look! the boat seems to match it pretty good.
I miss coming up there and riding in boats around Lake of the woods.
We have a family cabin in Minaki that I haven't seen for over ten years :(
I miss the great white north in the summer time and the fishing.
Hope you had a nice fathers day.

hey. nice truck.. looks better without the 50 dollar shell and the toolbox.
hey..is that overspray on the body I see???? or is that taxi cab primer?

I think that brake is a raybestos on that side.. I think the passenger was the napa... but i could have them mixed up.. the one that is painted is the raybestos,,,,
I think if you have a frendly parts man you might be able to get them warrantied...

    did it pull ok?

Man that is a beautiful lake. We don't see many lakes like that around here. Well, at least not with mountains in the background. Nice truck too. Wish I had one just like it.

Beautiful man! I bet it was nice pulling that boat with a decent two rig. Nice looking lake too Paul.

I took the girls out myself this weekend and caught some nice hog rainbows.

Thanks for the compliments, lads. Premier Lake is one of 5 lakes within 45 minutes of my property. It's not the biggest, but it's definitely the nicest......

Cam, the truck pulled the boat with little or no effort. It sure was nice to be able to accelerate going uphill with 4500 pounds behind me!!! The only issue, as stated above, was the front driver's side brake. Besides the squealing, it seemed to grab a little harder than the front passenger side. I guess I'll have to pull the wheel off and see what's going on. It almost feels like a sticky caliper.........:dunno:

If the ol' girl thinks THIS is cold, I can't imagine what she's gonna do come January...........:yikes:

William, the boat ran very nicely. Thanks for asking. We had 4 adults and 4 kids onboard, and the sucker still was able to reach 44 MPH without too much effort. The nicest surprise was that the gas gauge didn't even move after an hour on the lake. That's good news- 38 gallons of gas costs a LOT of money!!!!:doah:
