There were a ton of chiltons, haynes and clymer manuals there that were still in shrinkwrap. It was mostly 80's and 90's import stuff but there were probably 1000+ manuals. I never thought half price books would have the selection of auto related books that they do.

As simple as that is, I have never thought of going to the half price joints to find them.

Me neither. My roommate dragged me in there and had to drag me out. Scored some cool books on fishing also. There were also some real rare (I would guess) handbooks for porsches, alfa romeos, old briggs and stratton repair manuals, a book on diesels, etc. I only spent 24 bucks but could have easily spent $100.
