Ugh, time has come yet again for a set of boots. Lookin for steel toe, prefer about 8" high. Now the prob. I need a 15 wide (dont matter if EE or EEEE) I have not found any yet that dont look like mocassins, or some fisherman boot. Anybody know a place that sells monster sized steel toes? Thanks.

I know Danner makes a "high" steel toe boot, I think you can get them from Bass Pro shop /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif? the ones that have GoreTex rock, I had a pair for 1 yr., with heavy duty use (chemicals, salt, and high acid vinegar) and they still held up good. they are high though, mine were 200 /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif.

I found some steel toes in a size 16 from a place called "workboot Warehouse". It's a small chain in So Cal (as far as I know). I don't know if they have a website.

Maybe do a search for places that sell workboots online?
I know many companies don't bother advertising sizes over 14, but often they do make them. You just have to ask.

I have 15EE Wolverine's, but they're not as high as you're wanting, I got them at DSW.
