looking for 83 k5 smogable carb, (living in cali sux)

    i have the original rochester and it leaks teribly, i tried i rebuild kit on it with no luck. i also have 2, 750cfm holleys,(3110)(4160) witch i dont think it will pass with.
    if you have a good running smog compiant carb with electric choke please give me a price.

    E4ME electronically ESC controlled one with blue anbd white control plugs on front of it??
    if so then i have an 86 305 one, 20 plus mail

    that might work, but i removed my ecu a long time ago

    sounds like you just need a non ESC one then, would have to kow a few things like what direction fuel feed port and what type of cable connection and power booster port or not and kickdown cable connection or not and so forth,

    how you gonna pass a visual with ESC system gone ?

    every single piece of electrical stuff is gone, it looks like it was never there. therfore they treat it like a older one., i have passed every time until the carb gave out on my. I might be able to rebiult it again and spend more time on it, but m knowlage of doing that is limited.
