My brother-in-law is a furd guy and needs an engine to throw in his pickup so he can sell it. Anyone know of a cheap running furd engine?

    Thanks

My neighbor has/had a roller 302 for sale, a guy on OBH was interested in it but not sure if they made a deal or not. I'll check with him and let you know. Let me know if a 302 would work for him. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You cant just throw any engine in a truck with Ford. 360/390 are one engine family with its own bolt pattern, engine mounts, exhaust... Then 302, 351W, 351C, 351M and 400 I believe.

I know a couple guys to check with one in Dallas, OR and another in Redmond, OR. I will PM you a couple email addresses. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I had a friend call me this morning with information on a '66 Ford flatbed 2wd (unsure of engine) that runs good w/ a portable gas welder and onboard air for $1000. For that price its got a ton of good stuff on it and would be worth parting or keeping. If your interested I can get you his number to pass on.

352/360/390/428 are same motor mounts/bellhousing. 289/302/351W are same motor mounts/bellhousing.
    351M/400M are same.
    429/460 are same.
351M/400 have same bellhousing as 429/460, but different motor mounts.
    Hope this helps.
    Oh, and a 351C is a 1/2 breed between a 302/351W and a 351M/400M
