I've got a first gen blazer...and y'all know what that means...BAD RUST So now I've got all this equipment, a rusty blazer, plasma cutter, rotozip, mig welder, body grinders/sanders, hvlp gun, etc, and an eagerness to learn how to fix the damn thing. I'm looking for a "kindred spirit" so to speak, another person with a 1st generation blazer that needs rust repair, ideally with some bodywork experience or at least a willingness to learn. What you could get out of this: Use of heated garage (heated by kero heater, of course) use of my tools a(nother) CK5 friend repairs on your blazer bodywork experience a place to store your blazer (outdoors) as long as it can drive itself around the yard learn a new place to wheel maybe a couple free beers What I could get out of this: Another blazer to measure dimensions against lots of body experience a CK5 friend If you're interested, hit me up on aim (greenbuggied) or shoot me an email...kris (at) speedyoldtruck.com. I'm only going to be around to do this on the weekends (for the most part) since I'm busy attending school, at least until early may of next year. I'll be around for the entirety of thanksgiving week and most of january (christmas break). My house & garage are in Delano, MN, which is about 30 minutes west of minneapolis.
