When the rearend in my '91 S-Jimmy grenaded a couple of years ago all the junkyards in Colorado wanted $550-600 exchange for a used one that was also probably ready to grenade. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif I ended up buying new gears, an install kit, and a brand new take-out Torsen diff from a new Firebird, and learning how to setup gears myself. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Your best deal on prices is gonna be the Pic-n-pull type yards. There's one on the south end of the Springs that has a lot of S-10 stuff, but you'd have to crawl under them to find out ratios. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif The good news is that they only get $100 or $125 for a complete rearend. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
