I think I'm on the hunt for a big block. I'd like to build one strong with high horse power and LOTS of torque to put in my K5. I live in Wichita, KS and would be willing to drive.

I've got a Factory BBC402 replacement (warranty) engine. Casting date was I-20-71 (Sep 20, 1971) and casting # is 3999290. It has the following:

    - New water pump
    - New High-volume oil pump
    - new distributer for fuel injection (was my intention)
    - New harmonic balancer
    - Other new misc items
    - New Comp Cam #268H

The previous owner had the bottom half redone before I got it. It was fitted w/ 10:1 pistons. I took the heads in to have done, valves/springs replaced & hardened seats put in.

I'll sell it for $1200. I may also consider partial trade if you have something I've been wanting /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

    Give me a call @ (719) 321-8506.

The engine is currently in Colorado Springs on an engine stand waiting to let loose!!

Almost forgot, engine has been freshly painted Chevy Orange. I have photo's available upon request.-

I have a 454 out of an 87 1 ton. Runs great. I have Edelbrock performer cam and intake. Running on factory TBI system now (I am keeping). Heads were rebuilt 4 years ago and maybe have 8000 miles on them. Also selling Hooker super comp headers. $1200.00 OBO for engine, $100.00 for headers.

I have a 500+ HP 468 Chevy you can come over and drive and make sure you like it. Has about 500 miles and about 10 1/8 mile runs. It comes with everything.
