i have seen a lot of trucks with 2 1/2 inch exhaust but with those big 3 inch or so ends on them. does that make the exhaust sound deeper? i have headers, no cats, glasspacks, true dual exhaust but it just isnt as loud as i would like. help. thanks

Damn son, headers and glasspacks aren't loud enough for you? Doesn't get much worse than that. But yea, the bigger exhaust tips can make a difference. Kinda like shouting through a megaphone. Check Jegs or Summit for ends by a company called Megs I think. I don't like the way they look sometimes, but I like the way they sound. I don't have any, but I've heard/seen them at car shows, etc.
