I just got a sweet deal on a 1998 Vette motor complete with computer and harness. Does anyone out there have any info or know of anyone who's done this swap? I have already converted my 83 to a 1990 drivetrain with TBI but I think a stroked TPI motor would really be nasty. /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

the 1998 corvette came with an all aluminum LS-1, not an LT-1. and its a 5.7 liter 348 cubic inch motor rated at 315 hp. its not a stroked tpi. it would be a nasty swap however, and since you can get the harness and computer with it, i say go for it. you will need to upgrade your fuel system to put out the pressure it needs. but an LS-1 is one he!! of a motor. good luck
