2 questions, does anyone know if a dodge 8 lug rim would fit on a 14 bolt? How about dodge 5 lug fitting on a 5 lug chevy?

A dodge or ford 8 lug will fit on a GM. But a true GM 8 lug won't fit the other way as the center hole is smaller on a GM wheel.

Dodge 5 lug wont fit a Chevy 5 lug. The Dodges use the 5on5.5 lug pattern, which is the same as a ford and several others.

This is true up until just a few years ago. In Fords never-ending quest to make sure that NOTHING they make is interchangeable, they changed the 8-lug bolt patterns when the Super Duty trucks came out. /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

Backspacing would depend on the year. And I did forget about the 170mm x 8 superdutys. Ford is going the way of Mack trucks and having special parts that doesn't cross over.

I run 3.5" of backspacing on a 16X10 on my Ramcharger. Use caution about the hub hole some of the newer Dodge wheels have smaller holes than the Chevy wheels.
