I think they came with 3.08s but not sure any info would be appreciated.

  2. 4:10's I think, they were all pretty low geared.

    Old thread, I know...
    BUT

The M1009 came with *4.56* gears, not 4.10.
The M1008 came with 3.08 gears.

    Both had 400 trans.

What he said. I'm surprised this thread went this long without correction! Also, didn't they come with a Govloc in the rear and an open front except for the M1028 which had a LS up front and an extra leaf?

M1008 and M1028 had detroits in the rear. The 1028 did have a LSD front but I dunno what type. I believe the 1009 had 308s and a gov loc. 1008-1009 open fronts.

wrong info m1009 was blazer and 3.08 with gov lock rear.
then the m1008 -up trucks got the 4.56 and detroit rear and if posi front it was the weak trac-loc aka trash lock. should have been the power-loc if it was to have been a real posi front.
