they are cool chairs though, half the thing about being stuck in a wheel chair is just how limited you are to where u can go... this doesnt solve that problem entirely but it sure would help.

As someone who spent almost a year in a wheel chair, looks pretty cool to me. Actually, if a person is no more than paraplegic you would be surprised what they can do. I lost the use of both legs for almost a year and I could climb in and out of the chair with upper body alone. With both legs disabled, I managed to take a $600 66 GTO from 10 years in a horse pasture (based on rusted license plate) and put it on the road with rebuilt drive train (including pulling and rebuilding a 389 with Th400 swapped in for the Muncie I could not shift with bad legs), electrical, and brakes in a little over 4 months... The car was in the basement and I would climb out of the chair and down the stairs with my arms to work on the car. Without that, I would have vegetated and lost my mind! If I had not been able to get out of that thing, this would have been a pretty cool option...

That is cool but check-----> 4 wheel drive and lets you stand up (from the maker of the Segway) I saw this on 20/20 a while back it goes through sand like nothin', up and down stairs, and you can throw a ball and it won't fall down. Amazing what people can do if they want!
Oh yea not to be left out.....Who needs a plow truck when you've gone EXTREME! [IMG]
