    Marv,

There is one at the shot at Desert Rat, I will make sure I either pick it up, or have Brian drop if off on monday.

I have a Wilson 1000 mag mount you can borrow if you need. If you need it let me know. I won't be going to BB03, and my truck isn't running anyway so I am not using it. Let me know.

Harley, What's wrong with your truck? Hadn't you just replaced the tranny recently?

    Harley,

If you don't mind, our caravan could use another magnetic mount antenna, I think Grant is going to be cutting it a little close for arrival time and we are going to need one for his rig.

Could you stop this by either marv's house or Desert Rat on Broadway & Alma School and give to the guys at the shop and tell them it's for me.

Let me know, I will make sure it get's back to you in one pc.

    Thanks,
    Rob

    Grant,

Map program says from Gilbert, AZ to Flagstaff, AZ it's 167 miles, and 2hours 50 minutes, not towing. Hoping we can leave my house somewhere between 6pm to 7pm. that gets up up there around 10pm with no problems.

Speaking of mag mounts, what is the best kind to look for? I'm also thinking I'll get a hand held (maybe with scanner?) too and I need one for my HD. I'll probably hit up Fry's but thought I would ask. Does Fire-Stick have mags? Also, whats the best buy in hand helds???

    Russ,

I was at Fry's today, they did not have anything decent.

Firestick has a Mag Mount. They are local also. The guy there is really a helpful person.

As far as the handheld, I don't know what to tell you there.

Yeah, I've been to Firestick twice. Great folks... I'll try to head down there before leaving. Maybe they can recommend a handheld.

For that matter, if I decided to get one and just do a quick "hang it on", what/where should I look? I like Uniden, what's the best model now (bang for buck) and where can I find it on the North/Central side (around PV)?

$80 or so for each. It does weather, but not police. I asked about the police scanner but he didn't have anything that did the police scanning. Go to the PBB and search for "CB radio" in the "Vendor" forum and his "specials" will pop up.
