Have any of yall ever heard of or used a magnetic fuel saver? I saw it in J.C Whitney catalog (pg.57 in the good thru May 31,2000). Anyways, it is said to increase 11.6% fuel economy and also it says it will eliminate need for high octane fuel additives and a bunch of other stuff. Suppose to do something with the fuel molecules keeping them from clustering or something. Anyways, if any of yall ever used it or have any opinions on it, please let me know. Its only $20.

I saw that thing. Seems kinda like you elected yourself guinea pig. If you can save 11%, you will be ahead of those oil sheiks fo' sho'.

I've got some snake-oil that'll do the same thing.......

Probably does as much as wearing magnets to help bodily pain...

Well lets see, if your like me and get 9 mile to the gal. that would give ya an increase of 1.044 miles per gal. to make 10 mile per gal. To me 1 mile isn't enough to buy one on a gamble.
    But good luck

average fill-up quantity at the pump 25gal
    (average) cost of fuel $1.79gal
    $44.75 for a tank
i go through a tank per week, more or less. lets say less. thats still over fifty tanks per year. and thats over two grand a year in fuel bills.
NOW figure a ten percent reduction.
thats a lift kit. or something nice for the wife, who lets me buy $50 tanks of gas every week!
