If I recall, there used to be a company that advertised in the back of the 4x4 mags that sold replacement or surplus axles - 10 bolts in the $4-500 range, but I can't find it. Anyone know who it was and if they have a website?

The R&P went on my 94 2wd and since it has 220,000 km on it it might be easier to swap in a new/rebuilt unit in my driveway rather than having the gears and bearings replaced, especially since the dealership wanted $1600 to R&R the gears and bearings in the 10 bolt (I tried not to laugh).

So anyone remember or can recommend a good place?

I think you'd be better off to just get another rear end from a local salvage yard and install it in the driveway yourself.
