making a k5 lighter?

    How could you make a k5 lighter?
    removeing the hard top, lighter xcase and so on.......

    Easiest I can think of are top, doors, tailgate, and the backseat. I believe the 205 is lighter than the 203 for transfercases, least I hope it is since I'm swapping my 203 out sometime soon if $$ permits. You could go without carpet too, just paint the whole interior.

    wel $$$ is a problemm if it wouldn't i'd have a tube chassis and fiberglass body.[​IMG]

    Well Four Wheelers Project smoky 82 deisel Blazer shed about 2k by swaping out the body with a bummer body kit. there is a picture of it on the trails in the current issue.
