manual hubs move when i'm driving

    manual hubs move when i\'m driving

    ok , i'll make my question shorter. when i drive my hubs are moving from free to half way between free and lock. t/case is also whinning??? brand new hubs

    Sounds like you may be missing a spring or something inside your hubs to keep them dissengaged. There is usually a spring behind the gear that locks the axle to the hub to push it out when the hub is turned to free or 4x2. Not all locking hubs are made the same though.
