I have a 72 Jimmy and an 85 Blazer, Where can I get shop manuals for them. Not Chiltons's but specific manuals that covers every inch of both trucks?????

Try Ebay. I just bought a shop manual for $61.01 for K10-K30 trucks.

You will want both the factory shop manual and the factory overhaul manual, where steering gear, transfer case, etc. are described in detail and overhaul procedures are provided.

Oh, yeah, you will want the "Parts & Illustration" or "Parts & Accessories" manual which gives part numbers and exploded illustrations. A great help.

Does anyone have the parts numbers for these manuals? if so then we could get them from gmpartsdirect.com maybe. That should same some money if they aren't available on E-bay.

I doubt whether gmpartsdirect will have them. However, I have a "Truck Parts Catalog" dated Sept 73 which covers Chevrolet 1946-72, Series 10, 20 and 30 - it is "P&A 31". Paid about 60 bucks for it on ebay. Good to check some of the literature vendors to be found in Hemmings Motor news, too.
My "Chassis Overhaul Manual" is "ST 333 71". Shop manual is with the body, not here in my office.
I think you can get reprints of shop and overhaul manuals through the truck parts dealers such as Chevy Duty at about 50 bucks or so. May be able to find CD versions also, but I prefer a book.
    Good luck

Most of GM's Factory Service Manuals were printed by Helm, Inc. Check their web site:

FWIW, repops of the FSM for the '72 are available from companies like Chevy Duty, LMC, Brothers, and the other usual suspects...
