Anyone know of a master cylinder upgrade for a `73 K5?? Namely a newer master cylinder with the plasic reservoir that seals alot better? I'm having problems getting the top to seal properly on mine, it's the third one that has done this.

You can, but you have to replace the booster as well. I asked about this before, but got no answer, so I tried myself becasue I had a plastic res. one laying around. The hole on the back of the master where the piston is, is alot bigger on the plastic one. So you would get a booster from an 80s and you would be set.

Desert is right. the pilot part of the master is different. I swaaped the booster and master form an 86 3/4 ton onto my 73 firewall. no problem.
